IMMEDIATE JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Service Technician
Full – Time
Salary Range $16-$25/hr. (commensurate on level of experience)
Water Purification Consultants seeks a qualified Technician to join our team in Winston-Salem. The
Technician will perform service and repair work on a range of water filtration systems including: water
softeners, iron and manganese removal, UV disinfection, reverse osmosis, acid neutralizers, and
cartridge filters. Candidates must be able to understand and use service manuals and diagrams for
diagnosis and repair of non-performing treatment equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance including inspection and repairs of water treatment equipment at residential and commercial sites
- Manage work log
- Maintain detailed reports of work done at various job sites
- Update operation and maintenance service manuals as necessary
- Show professionalism and courtesy to all customers
- Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
- Provide information regarding maintenance and service upkeep to clients
- Use of computer or other electronic equipment for time-sheet reporting, service order records, and customer payment processing
Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid NC Driver’s License
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
- Familiarity with water filter head controls, media replacement, gauges, and PLCs
- Well pump service and repair experience required
- Water heater service and repair experience required
- Able to perform minor plumbing repairs including toilets and faucets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- NC Back-flow Testing Certification or able to obtain within (9) months of hire
Salary Expectation
Full-time position
$16.00-$25.00/hour (Salary offer will be commensurate with experience, knowledge and work skills)
