IMMEDIATE JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Plumber
Full – Time
Salary Range $22-$32/hr. (commensurate with level of experience)
Water Purification Consultants seeks a qualified Plumber to join our team in Winston-Salem. Duties
will include galvanized, stainless steel and/or PVC pipe fitting at a range of project sites. Candidates
must understand how to read and interpret construction plans for: water filtration systems of various
designs, water service lines, well systems, tanks, valves and drain piping.
Duties and Responsibilities
– Lead installation of water treatment and commercial plumbing systems
– Carry out regular maintenance including inspection and repairs of water plumbing
systems for commercial and residential sites
– Inspect and make necessary repairs at existing commercial sites
– Manage work log
– Maintain detailed reports of work done at various job sites
– Show professionalism and courtesy to all customers
– Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
– Coordinate with non-company contractors and subcontractors on construction time
schedules
– Provide pertinent information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
– Use of computer or other electronic equipment for timesheet reporting, service order
records, and customer payment processing.
Skills and Qualifications
– High School diploma or GED
– Valid NC Driver’s License
– Knowledge of NC Plumbing and Fuel gas code
– Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with co-worker and clients
– NC Plumbing License preferred, but not required
– NC Backflow Testing Certification or able to obtain within (9) months of hire
Salary Expectation
Full-time position
$22.00-$32.00/hour (Salary offer will be commensurate with experience, knowledge and work skills)
